Clara & William ("we", "us", "our") operates this online store. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect your personal information when you visit our store, buy from us or contact us. We comply with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, for residents of Quebec, the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25).

If you withdraw consent, we may not be able to complete some services, such as delivering an order.

Email and text message marketing

We follow Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). We only send marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can reply STOP (or ARRÊT) to any text message to stop receiving them. We process unsubscribe requests within 10 business days. If you sign up for text messages, we may send order updates, reminders about items left in your cart, offers and review requests. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.

Who we share your information with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run our business, and only what they need to do their job:

Shopify, which hosts our store and processes orders;
payment processors, to process payments securely;
our fulfilment partner and carriers (including Canada Post), to prepare and deliver your order;
email, text message and analytics providers, to communicate with you and improve our store.

We may also disclose information when required by law, or to protect our rights and prevent fraud.

Information stored outside Canada

Some of our service providers are located outside Canada, including in the United States, the European Union and Asia, where our fulfilment partner prepares orders. Your information may therefore be stored or processed outside Canada and be subject to the laws of those countries, including access by their courts or authorities. We use contracts and other measures so that these providers protect your information to a standard comparable to Canadian law.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, measure how our store is used and, with your consent where required, show you relevant ads. You can control cookies in your browser settings. If you block some cookies, parts of the store may not work properly.

How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law (for example, tax records). After that, we securely delete or anonymize it.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable physical, organizational and technical safeguards, including encrypted payments and restricted access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. Our store is not intended for children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority in their province or territory.
